Hamlin Mansion is the place we’ve chosen to wed. Built in 1901 as an entertaining home for the silver magnate Flood family, this magnificent building is crafted in the Italian Baroque and has nothing but stunning detail in every nook, everywhere you look. Designed by Julius Kraft, it boasts twenty-four rooms on three levels, including a wood-paneled library with marble fireplaces and a mosaic-inlaid solarium with Tiffany stained-glass cupola skylights. From the solarium are gorgeous views over Pacific Heights to the Bay and the hills of Marin County. Perhaps our favorite element of having our ceremony and reception at this venue is the openness of the balconied Great Hall and the many different spaces within the building, which guests are free to explore and enjoy throughout the event. We are also pleased that the full rental price of this location goes to the scholastic fund for its present incarnation, the Hamlin School for girls.
